Something had shifted behind Cassian's eyes and Luthen had braced himself for a fight – a verbal one, hopefully – but Cassian had just sat down at Luthen's table and after a moment asked, "So I don't do anything unless you tell me to?" His voice had sounded slightly forced, but Luthen hadn't had any idea what was behind it. "You decide what I need to do with him and then I do it?"
It wasn't what Luthen had said, and he never would have put it like that. "Yes," he had answered. It wasn't what he had meant to say.

Sometimes the rebellion needs Cassian to go on a honeypot mission. The rebellion- that's who needs it. Definitely the rebellion.
Zook says: Honestly, I had kind of given up on finding decent Andor fic involving some gay action for Cassian (you're welcome to point me towards your haul!), but then a fic subscription notice for this author's profile landed in my inbox. (I knew them from two BRILLIANT Black Sails fics, btw.) I did squint at the pairing at first, but this works very, very well. It's written from Luthen's POV, who is in half-desperate denial (must at least feel like that for him), which is perfect. Cassian is stubbornly sassing along his path, doing his retrieved puppy thing--but make him a honeypot! (A trope that found me via reading too much Garashir, I guess.) Great language, great pacing. Very plausible!! Please show the author some love, kudos, or even a comment. ❤️

I’m late to the plug post, but this shrine refused to be rushed, and that feels fitting for a character whose whole story is about choosing her own ending on her own terms.
Millicent is an optional NPC in Elden Ring: a daughter of rot, born from the Scarlet Aeonia, carrying the same affliction as her mother, Malenia. Her questline is easy to miss entirely, which somehow makes it hit harder. She doesn’t ask to be saved. She asks to be walked beside.
Scarlet Remembrance is built around three voices: Chronicle (narrative prose), Codex (archival / terminal aesthetic), and Ritual (devotional poetry). Each chapter can be read through any of the three. I wanted it to feel less like documentation and more like entering a space, something you sit inside before it explains itself.
Some things I’m especially proud of:
- the Codex voice has its own visual language: glowing terminal panels, flickering archive headers, pink-tinted annotations
- there’s a whisper system that surfaces Millicent’s voice at random intervals as you read
- the whole shrine respects prefers-reduced-motion and supports keyboard navigation
This was my first completed shrine for any challenge, and honestly the first shrine I’ve ever completed at all. I’ve been designing for the web since I was a teenager, so finally finishing one in my late 30s and having it be the first shrine to grace the Resonant Threshold Network feels a little surreal, but very right. It took longer than I expected and I restarted the approach more than once, but I’m genuinely happy with where it landed.

My hobbies are: I enjoy Vocaloid music, Vtubers, Anime/manga, literature, birdwatching, knitting and crochet, playing rhythm games. I'm also a programmer and may bring up tech stuff occasionally. I'm learning to draw.
My fandoms are: Current hyperfixation is NBA (go Nuggets). I keep up with F1 casually. I follow paleontology and aviation news. Currently reading JJBA, Chainsaw Man, slowly watching Dark Winds. Check my About Me sticky for the full list of stuff.
I'm looking to meet people who: Are also writing personal journals and forming community. Besides that, people who write or read more structured content. Being autistic makes me extremely monotropic in my interests and I keep them for a long time. Therefore, YOI is only the second fandom I'm writing fanfic for.
I'm migrating from tumblr because I don't vibe with the overall atmosphere there.
I read queer books and SFF. My taste in music comprises hard rock, metal, generally '80s, and classic music. And I watch a lot of anime.
