It discusses over why they literally don't make things like they used to, and why so many products are so shit nowadays, with multiple real-world examples throughout. Not only that, it explains what you can do about it.

For real! It's ridiculous how I can buy something that is generally well-made and good quality, but they just... left a failure point in that they absolutely should have dealt with in a better world. Looking at you, clothing seams. At least my parents have always been somewhat interested in self-repair and using things until they are truly dead (even if they've technically been replaced!), so our waste is not too bad.
