It is so fucking funny that my 2019-2020 Professor Layton-posting is still haunting my statistics so many years later. At the time, my two favorite ships (especially Crow/Luke) had absolute scraps in terms of fics to read, so I very much got into a "fuck it, I'll do it myself!" mindset.
I was also so much less worried about fic quality back then, because that was also the first fandom I was posting onto AO3 for. A lot of the stuff was what I would nowadays never want to write, because it doesn't have enough Plot, or it's too Cliche. I need to stop being so worried about that!! It's holding me back from writing as much as I want to...!!!
My additional tags were exactly what I expected, though. I do love me some character studies and hurt/comfort. The fourth and fifth tags are also very predictable if you know what I love to write: "angst" and "internalized homophobia", respectively.
That ended up... a lot more reflective than I expected it to. Stars, I have GOT to shake off this perfectionism and just WRITE MORE!
